Responsibilities

  • Report modification/creation/customization
  • Form modification
  • Product creation
  • System table maintenance
  • Create custom queries
  • User defined table creation & maintenance
  • Workflow design/modification
  • Create/modify system validations and stored procedures
  • Create change control requests and present to change advisory board
  • Lead and coordinate test releases, new builds and enhancements
  • Test plan creation and execution
  • Document and review new request and/or system enhancements
  • Provide end user support for business systems, resolving inquiries and issues, escalating issues to senior support, as necessary.
  • Assist in training and updating job aids
  • Communicating updates, systems and business changes to stakeholders as needed
  • Interact with vendors and contractors assisting to resolve any issues
  • Work with business analyst to evaluate user requirements for changes or enhancements to existing business systems and provide specifications where needed
  • Recommend improvements to business systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in SQL, iSQL, InfoMaker, PowerBuilder, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Sybase Central, RDP/remote desktop
  • Minimum 4 years SQL and report creation experience
  • Proficient with O365 and MS Office applications
  • Ability to develop test plans and coordinate testing across multiple users and teams
  • Experience in business solutions or operations analysis preferred
  • Ability to diagnose user and application problems
  • Experience developing materials and training users either in-person or remotely
  • Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong individual contributor that requires little supervision
  • At least one year’s experience Insurance industry a plus
  • Great customer service skills, ability to research a problem prior to asking for assistance, willingness to learn, team player, work independently
