We are hiring a fulltime Android Engineer at Architect level to join the mobile engineering team. You will be building products that secure mobile devices, application and data. This is a very visible, key role within our engineering group.
- Research Android platform, Security
- Develop and maintain Android applications and frameworks
- Work with product managers to translate the product requirements to technical requirements.
- Translate designs and mock-ups into high quality code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer escalations
Qualifications
- Expert in Java (10+ years) OR C / C++ (7+ years) and Android App development (10+ years)
- Expert in Android internals (networking stack and device management)
- Strong Experience with Android SDK, NDK, JNI and different versions of Android
- Strong experience and understanding of networking protocols
- Experience with PKI, network security technologies and protocols
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Desired Skills
- Experience implementing vpn, firewall type solutions on Android
- Experience in security industry
- Worked on platform-level component specific to Android
- Experience or familiarity with iOS platform
Education: BS Computer Science, Engineering
