What You’ll Do:

Agile Project Managers serve the organization by coordinating the completion of projects and ensuring teams are set up for success by following Agile principles. They do this by planning, monitoring, reporting, and delivering large scale projects to meet the goals of Formstack. The Agile project Manager will be accountable for product delivery and will work alongside Engineering Managers to ensure projects have the appropriate level of resourcing to achieve timelines.

How You’ll Succeed:

  • Own the execution of the entire Product Development Lifecycle, and manage all stages of the project life cycle to ensure teams are on track to consistently deliver value
  • Manage cross team/department dependencies, as well as internal communication on project status and timelines
  • Facilitate the team’s Scrum practices by serving as the team’s Scrum Master and remove impediments and blockers for teams so they can continuously deliver value to customers
  • Accountable for creating project artifacts such as project charter, project plan, communication plan…etc.
  • Effectively work with the organization to manage risks
  • Track project and team performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals
  • Be the first point of contact for project stakeholders
  • Ensure teams follow proper playbooks, processes, and procedures defined in our PDLC
  • Consistently deliver product department projects on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Provide reporting on project plans and outcomes to appropriate stakeholders
  • Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum process maturity and increase velocity over time
  • Support the team in building, communicating, and maintaining the project artifacts

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience managing teams and projects, and using agile methodology
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum practices
  • Great communicator that excels in both transparent and tactful communication
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivated and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
  • Ability to anticipate impediments for the team before the team encounters them, and solve the root cause
  • Proven track record of making process and velocity improvements through Kaizen retrospectives
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Scrum Master Certified
  • CAPM Certified

Salary Range:

$80,000 – $90,000 (USD) per year + bonus up to 5% of base salary
