Job Description

Our client, a boutique advertising agency with a focus working with healthcare brands, has an immediate need for a Copywriter / Editor with digital writing experience to join their growing team. You will join a collaborative team of marketing and creative talent within a fast-paced agency environment and have meticulous attention to detail as you craft short form and long form copy across a multimedia channel with a focus on digital (websites, emails, social media, banner ads, etc.).

As a versatile writer with excellent editing skills, you have a strong background stemming from agencies or in house marketing / advertising environments with knowledge SEO and has experience writing, editing, and managing content including headlines and body copy for digital and traditional advertising, social media, collateral materials, and websites.

This position operates on a hybrid schedule out of their Miami, FL office, but they are open to fully remote candidates as well. Employees are offered medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and commuter benefits.

  • Compensation: $80K-$86K


  • Conceives ideas, strategizes, and produces content, long and short form copy for digital (80%) and traditional (20%) advertising materials.
  • Produces SEO copy.
  • Works with the strategy, accounts, and creative teams to originate powerful ideas that are align with campaign goals.
  • Converts complicated jargon and concepts into understandable messaging.
  • Provides strategic guidance and input regarding editorial best-practices to others in the agency.
  • Manages time well and completes projects on schedule.
  • Stays up to date on emerging trends and relevant changes in the world of advertising with a special focus on health and wellness communications and healthcare advertising.


  • 3+ years of experience in an ad agency or within a professional in-house marketing or advertising environment.
  • Portfolio of samples showcasing headlines, body copy, short form writing, advertising copy, digital content (emails, banners, website, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to contribute to and co-present compelling client-facing presentations.
  • Excellent multitasking, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly proficient in the English language written and spoken.
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
