- On-call rotation required to support production systems 24×7
- Travel not required for day-to-day operations
- Microsoft Teams used heavily for meetings and internal communication
What You’ll Do
- Build, deploy, and support IBM Workload Automation (IWA) products and supporting COTS applications
- Support job scheduling operations primarily on Linux (with some Windows agents)
- Respond to trouble tickets within SLA and participate in incident management
- Follow change management processes and operational procedures
- Monitor, evaluate, and report system performance
- Maintain security posture and resolve vulnerability scan findings
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Work with stakeholders to create schedules and provide technical guidance
- Use korn/bash shell scripting to automate tasks and improve efficiency
What You Need
- 3+ years of total work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in CIS/CS or related field (or relevant technical certificates)
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment (workspace, equipment, discipline)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a virtualized operating environment
- Comfort with ticketing, incident management, and change processes
- Shell scripting experience (korn/bash)
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- General knowledge of job scheduling concepts and user/admin experience (2+ years)
- Basic understanding of networking and client/server technology
