- Salary range: $66,100 – $81,439 CAD (depending on experience & location)
What You’ll Do
- Build & support custom WordPress themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks
- Work with modern stacks: PHP, React, Sass, Composer, Docker, CI/CD
- Troubleshoot and optimize sites for speed, security, and accessibility
- Collaborate with PMs, designers, and other engineers across client projects
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal tooling & documentation
What You Need
- 3+ years professional WordPress development
- Strong understanding of FSE, CPTs, REST API, hooks/filters, theme.json
- React proficiency & experience building Gutenberg blocks (ACF)
- Familiarity with WordPress VIP, Pantheon, or WPEngine
- CI/CD workflows, Git, Docker, performance & accessibility best practices
- Agency or multi-client environment experience is a plus
