Schedule
- Contract role
- Remote (US-based only)
- Must be available M-F, 8am–5pm in your timezone
- Minimum 20 hours per week
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain websites using modern best practices
- Write clean, scalable, well-documented code
- Build layouts, themes, and UI using HTML/CSS
- Manage platform integrations, databases, and hosting environments
- Handle site migrations, security, backups, and performance optimization
- Create and refine client specifications and documentation
- Track and report web performance metrics and SEO improvements
- Provide site maintenance, support, and troubleshooting
- Lead client communication and project expectations
- Deliver consistent, polished written communication
- Collaborate across teams and present work confidently
What You Need
- 5+ years of web development experience
- 5+ years working remotely in a professional capacity
- Strong WordPress experience, including troubleshooting and migrations
- Mastery of CSS and ability to customize themes
- Experience with multiple web-building platforms and hosting providers
- Familiarity with SEO, UI/UX principles, and site performance optimization
- Experience with e-commerce platforms
- Excellent written communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and meet deadlines
