What You’ll Do

  • Perform and document scheduled and urgent benefit configuration testing for new client implementations and benefit additions, terminations, and changes
  • Ensure testing is completed accurately and on time to reduce risk of access-to-care issues, missed performance guarantees, and potential liquidated damages
  • Build a working understanding of the claims adjudication system and related upstream/downstream processes
  • Test standard and custom configurations to meet client expectations and business needs
  • Contribute to root cause analysis for issues using sound judgment and process awareness
  • Follow benefit design and configuration standards, including HIPAA, NCPDP, and internal business standards
  • Use workflow tools, issue tracking, and reporting tools to troubleshoot and respond to questions and requests
  • Support internal teams through client meetings, audits, and program implementations by answering testing questions and providing guidance
  • Adapt to industry changes and evolving technology across both legacy and emerging systems
  • Participate in process improvement, cost reduction, and automation efforts
  • Help create and maintain training materials, work instructions, and team policies
  • Perform enhancement and regression testing of low-to-moderate complexity to support compliance with state, federal, client, and operational standards
  • Mentor and support new and existing team members as part of ongoing training

What You Need

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes with close supervision (minimal experience required to start)
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation habits, and comfort working in structured workflows
  • Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively while supporting compliance objectives

Pay Range: $20.44 – $24.33/hr.
