• Expectations include incident triage and service restoration when issues arise
What You’ll Do
• Automate infrastructure delivery using configuration orchestration and management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
• Build and maintain deployment patterns using hardened, standardized images and templated rollouts
• Apply OS hardening practices across Linux and Windows environments
• Implement and support Java application servers such as JBOSS EAP and Tomcat
• Support compute virtualization using VMware technology, including converged storage patterns and Pure Storage environments
• Triage incidents by determining scope, assessing impact, and restoring service quickly and safely
• Contribute to service catalog automation for infrastructure delivery where applicable
What You Need
• Strong systems engineering fundamentals across Linux and Windows
• Hands on automation experience with tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform
• Scripting ability in at least one language (PowerShell, Python, or UNIX shell scripting)
• Experience with OS hardening and standardized deployment methodologies
• Experience implementing Java application servers (JBOSS EAP, Tomcat)
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization and modern storage stacks (Pure Storage experience is a plus)
