What You’ll Do
- Design and launch AI-powered features for Firefox desktop, from sketches through live product
- Blend familiar UI patterns with new AI-driven interactions for browsing that feels fast, fresh, and secure
- Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, and content designers to align strategy with execution
- Use wireframes, prototypes, and storyboards to refine innovative AI experiences
- Evolve Firefox’s design systems to ensure consistency across complex workflows
- Ensure privacy, accessibility, and trust are embedded into every interaction
- Deliver clear, scalable solutions that make complex workflows intuitive
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of product design experience (large-scale or complex workflows)
- Experience designing AI experiences for consumer products at scale
- A user-centric portfolio with polished UI, strong craft, and innovative interaction paradigms
- Expertise in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices and privacy-first design principles
- Familiarity with design systems and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira)
- Strong grasp of typography, motion, accessibility, and brand expression
- Track record of delivering end-to-end design in ambiguous, cross-functional environments
- Hands-on curiosity with AI technologies and prototyping
Compensation
- Tier 1 US Locations: $137,000 – $199,000
- Tier 2 US Locations: $126,000 – $183,000
- Tier 3 US Locations: $116,000 – $169,000
(Location- and experience-adjusted. Base pay may be supplemented with bonuses and other benefits.)
