Schedule
- Full-time, remote
- Compensation range: $152,000–$200,000 (plus equity/RSUs)
- Central or Eastern U.S. time zones strongly preferred

What You’ll Do
- Write clean, maintainable code in Ruby on Rails and TypeScript
- Lead by example and help set engineering standards across the team
- Mentor engineers through pairing, feedback, and technical guidance
- Drive advanced design and architecture decisions for scalable systems
- Build technical roadmaps and lead project execution
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Customer Support to ship scalable solutions
- Participate in Agile rituals, including daily standups and weekly retros
- Provide subject matter expertise and support across cross-functional partners
What You Need
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years coding with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Strong SQL and RDBMS knowledge (plus exposure to NoSQL)
- Experience building scalable, API-first systems
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Ability to communicate the value of technical investments
- Ability to operate with minimal technical guidance and drive solutions independently
- Experience mentoring engineers
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Bonus: Big data engineering experience on AWS and/or Databricks
