Schedule
• Fully remote
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Collaborate across distributed engineering, architecture, product, and DevOps teams
• Must maintain a private, distraction-free workspace
• Ability to participate in remote training and cross-team planning sessions

What You’ll Do
• Lead the build-out of enterprise CI/CD pipelines, reusable workflows, and secure deployment patterns
• Create a seamless CI/CD experience across GitHub, GitHub Actions, and artifact management tools
• Build tooling, CLIs, observability components, and optimized deployment platforms
• Drive standardized DevOps practices including runner management, node pools, and automated workflows
• Partner with architecture, product, and program teams to influence platform strategy and key decisions
• Build scalable solutions using modern backend languages (Java, Python, C#, Golang, etc.)
• Work with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and large cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Improve infrastructure performance, reduce stack complexity, and enable teams to ship faster
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to a high-performing, Agile development culture

What You Need
• 7+ years of backend development experience on enterprise applications
• 6+ years as a DevOps engineer building standardized pipelines and automation tooling
• 3+ years hands-on with CI/CD (GitHub, GitHub Actions, JFrog/Artifact mgmt)
• 3+ years with backend languages (Java, Python, C#, Helm, Golang)
• 3+ years with cloud environments and Kubernetes
• 2+ years with Kafka and modern RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred)
• 2+ years collaborating with architecture/product leadership
• Experience leading Scrum/Agile teams
• Strong scripting and automation skills
• Ability to design secure, enterprise-grade deployment workflows

Preferred Skills
• Full-stack development experience
• Strong observability/telemetry familiarity
• Ability to mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices
• Knowledge of large-scale infrastructure performance
• Creative problem solver able to build self-service automation
• Comfortable evaluating architectural trade-offs
• Bonus: Experience with Jenkins, Octopus, and TeamCity
