- Partner with product, cloud, data science, analytics, and engineering teams
What You’ll Do
- Design and manage scalable data processing platforms for real-time and batch analytics
- Build data pipelines from ingestion through ETL to storage and streaming systems
- Automate and harden workflows to ensure reliability, security, and performance
- Architect data models that support mission-critical analytics and product initiatives
- Develop distributed systems for real-time insights and event processing
- Drive data best practices across engineering and partner teams
- Mentor engineers and champion modern data engineering approaches
What You Need
- 8+ years experience with high-volume, large-scale data systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS
- Advanced programming skills in Python or Java
- Deep SQL experience and query optimization skills
- Spark, Spark Streaming, and EMR experience
- Knowledge of Kafka/Kinesis and modern ETL orchestration tooling
- Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD workflows
- Background in data security, governance, contracts, and cost performance
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience

- Experience with lakehouse architecture and open table formats
- History improving data platform reliability and cost efficiency
- Ability to operate independently and lead technical strategy
