What You’ll Do
- Lead development of core Android features that power safety and everyday family coordination
- Partner with Product and Design to elevate the user experience across onboarding and daily app use
- Build reusable components that support rapid experimentation and high-performance mobile experiences
- Ensure global-ready app architecture across international markets
- Mentor engineers and guide architectural and code quality standards
What You Need
- 8+ years Android engineering experience building high-traffic consumer apps
- Expert in Kotlin and modern Android stack (Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Architecture Components)
- Experience with scalable UI systems, feature flagging, and experimentation frameworks
- Strong understanding of app architecture, lifecycle management, navigation, and testing frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
Bonus Points
- Experience with internationalization/localization
- Background in location-aware products
- Experience with Google billing/subscriptions
- Familiarity with AI-powered dev tools
