Schedule
- Full-time, remote (US-based only)
- Standard working hours with flexibility to support collaboration
Compensation
- $155,500 – $191,600 base salary (no bonus; equity included)
- Pay based on experience, proficiency, and internal equity
What You’ll Do
- Build Rula’s first iOS and Android apps alongside a Staff Mobile Engineer.
- Develop impactful patient-facing features from day one.
- Contribute to a brand-new codebase and shape mobile engineering practices.
- Ensure code quality with strong debugging, testing, and review discipline.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor peers and contribute to a high-quality engineering culture.
What You Need
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in mobile development.
- 2+ years of React Native experience.
- Proven track record shipping production features on iOS and/or Android.
- Strong debugging, testing, and code quality practices.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Experience with 0→1 mobile product development.
- Contributions to shared mobile infrastructure (CI/CD, component libraries, analytics).
