Schedule

Responsibilities
• Build and enhance PULSE, CorroHealth’s autonomous medical coding engine
• Develop new features in a full stack environment and maintain existing platform functionality
• Mentor junior developers and guide best practices
• Break down complex engineering problems into clear, solvable components
• Contribute to architectural planning and design discussions
• Collaborate with product, design, business development, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Participate in demos, sprint planning, and peer reviewed code cycles
• Troubleshoot system issues and remove roadblocks to development
• Write clear documentation and communicate effectively with distributed teams
• Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• Learn new technologies and adapt to legacy systems when needed
Requirements
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience
• Strong Java programming fundamentals with a proven portfolio
• Experience with agile development environments and daily standups
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD processes
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and legacy systems quickly
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
• AWS services and AWS SDK
• Linux scripting, Git, Slack API, Rundeck
• Regular expressions
• NLP or document processing
• XML, JSON, PDF, OCR, HL7
• Experience in healthcare technology a plus
