⦁ Must be able to travel to Mexico, Canada, California, India, and Tennessee

What You’ll Do
⦁ Lead and grow global engineering teams delivering multiple concurrent projects
⦁ Build an inclusive team structure across vendors and geographic regions
⦁ Drive modernization of One Inc’s Digital Payments platform aligned to long-range tech strategy
⦁ Guide teams in using AI tools for code generation, refactoring, and documentation while maintaining secure coding standards
⦁ Lead program increment and sprint planning, story decomposition, sizing, and task assignments
⦁ Translate business needs into scalable technical designs and resilient production code
⦁ Lead design and code reviews for new product development
⦁ Partner with Enterprise Architecture to develop microservice architecture and transition states
⦁ Lead API design, implementation, and maintenance to support external integrations at scale
⦁ Ensure APIs remain backward compatible and avoid breaking changes
⦁ Implement an API test automation framework including unit and load/performance testing
⦁ Collaborate with Security to maintain PCI compliance
⦁ Work with QA to close testing gaps and prevent defects from reaching production
⦁ Serve as escalation lead for client-impacting incidents, driving resolution and prevention
⦁ Monitor platform performance, mitigate scalability risks, and create KPIs to elevate engineering standards
⦁ Contribute to engineering best practices documentation and enforce team adherence

What You Need
⦁ 10+ years of software development experience in IT
⦁ 3+ years of management experience
⦁ 5+ years of API development experience
⦁ Expert-level skill in C#, .NET Core, Java, and REST APIs
⦁ Experience in Azure or AWS plus cloud-native architecture, containers, and microservices
⦁ Strong command of TDD, Domain Driven Architecture, SOA, and clean secure coding standards
⦁ Strong grasp of design patterns and principles like SOLID and DRY
⦁ Familiarity with AI-enhanced dev tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar)
⦁ Experience in insurtech or fintech, ideally with credit card transaction processing and high-volume systems
⦁ Agile/Scrum experience (SAFe is a plus)
⦁ Proven ability to lead complex projects end-to-end with strong written and verbal communication skills
⦁ Ability to mentor engineers, drive alignment across teams, and build a transparent, inclusive culture
