What You’ll Do
- Design, deploy, configure, and operate Kubernetes environments end-to-end
- Build scalable, reliable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices
- Create monitoring and observability solutions, plus alerting strategies that actually work
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement improvements across systems and services
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth, repeatable deployments
- Lead incident response, run root cause analysis, and ship preventative fixes
- Build and improve automation tooling, including AI/ML-assisted automation where it fits
- Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and operational readiness
What You Need
- 5–7 years in SRE and/or DevOps roles
- Strong Kubernetes and container orchestration expertise
- Deep Linux/Unix knowledge and performance tooling experience (example: NMON)
- Experience with logs, monitoring systems, and observability tooling
- Database administration and performance tuning experience (Oracle and SQL Server)
- Strong programming skills in at least one: Python, Go, Java, or Node.js
- Experience building automation tools/frameworks
- A track record of proactive issue identification and resolution (not just “ticket taker” work)
