• Hybrid: remote + on-site provider visits in the Syracuse, NY area
• Travel required within assigned region
• Must have reliable high-speed internet
What You’ll Do
• Retrieve medical records from provider offices both in person and electronically
• Scan and upload relevant components of medical records for review
• Contact provider offices to request records and coordinate retrieval methods
• Schedule retrieval appointments and update tracking systems with accurate details
• Make consistent outbound calls to ensure timely record collection
• Maintain detailed documentation in internal systems to track record status
• Report daily productivity numbers to your supervisor
• Ensure HIPAA compliance at all times
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communication with provider offices
• Support additional tasks as needed to meet project goals
What You Need
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clinical experience preferred (MA, CNA, medical clerk, etc.)
• Prior call center, sales, collections, or healthcare office experience a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through
• Ability to travel locally to provider sites
• Comfort with data entry, scanning, and navigating multiple computer applications
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Professionalism and the ability to interact well with medical staff
