Schedule
- Full-time, remote role (with preference for candidates within 2 hours of Richmond, VA for periodic onsite meetings).

What You’ll Do
- Lead UX design on small, medium, and large-scale projects with support from design leadership.
- Conduct user research, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and research documentation to inform design.
- Develop user-friendly experiences based on research and business goals.
- Define and maintain research and testing processes, including usability testing.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align product goals with user needs.
- Provide mentorship, feedback, and support to less experienced designers.
What You Need
- 4–10 years of professional UX design experience.
- Proven ability to lead UX design for custom and complex web applications.
- Strong skills with design tools (Figma preferred; Sketch, Adobe Suite, or InVision acceptable).
- Experience with contextual inquiry and user research methods.
- Skilled in creating design artifacts such as user journeys, JTBD, scenarios, and service blueprints.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
- Eagerness to apply Object Oriented UX (OOUX) principles.
