  • Full-time, remote

  • Salary range: $85,000–$125,000 per year
  • Bonus eligibility: annual incentive based on individual and company performance
  • Nighttime support may be required for production incidents

What You’ll Do

  • Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support multiple administration systems and processes
  • Research and evaluate information used to develop and maintain large, complex systems that meet business needs
  • Build and test major system changes and enhancements with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Diagnose complex production issues quickly and implement high-quality fixes to reduce business impact
  • Provide thorough technical documentation for programming changes and enhancements
  • Partner with business users to understand needs, communicate clearly, and anticipate downstream impacts of changes
  • Recommend solutions and proactively suggest process improvements
  • Manage technical tasks within large projects to ensure work aligns with project plans and delivery expectations
  • Model strong engineering leadership, provide feedback to peers, and help develop others’ skills

What You Need

  • 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Strong experience in environments using: COBOL, VSAM, Oracle, Unix, XML, Java, and web services (preferred)
  • Experience with LIDP’s The Administrator (ADMI) and/or Titanium systems (ideal)
  • Strong debugging, problem analysis, and production support skills
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
  • Familiarity with annuity and VUL products, including accounting/claims/finance concepts (preferred)
  • AI experience in a development environment (ideal)
