- Full-time
- Remote: Yes (U.S. only)
- Hours: Standard business hours (flexibility as needed)
- Travel: 0% to 25% for site visits and collaboration with FAA teams
- Background: Must be able to pass a government Public Trust investigation
What You’ll Do
- Develop and review technical documents, plans, and guidance materials supporting FAA programs
- Perform technology evaluations and support testing and evaluation efforts
- Execute independent verification and validation (IV&V) support
- Build and support system modeling as needed for program planning and execution
- Develop strategic plans, program management plans, and policy support documentation
- Conduct technical analyses and feasibility assessments to support decision-making
- Provide enterprise integration support across programs, projects, and systems
- Provide technical leadership for contract staff executing support activities
- Review IP configurations and generate accurate IP supplemental forms, including subnetting details
- Support networking requirements like VPN configuration understanding, firewall rule awareness, and related pre-submission ordering details
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, or Science (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- 11+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence external stakeholders
- Solid IP networking background, including accurate subnetting and configuration review
- Working knowledge of VPN configurations and an understanding of firewall rules and networking requirements prior to submission
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and work around equipment and server room environments when required
