Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Remote: Yes (U.S. only)
  • Hours: Standard business hours (flexibility as needed)
  • Travel: 0% to 25% for site visits and collaboration with FAA teams
  • Background: Must be able to pass a government Public Trust investigation

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and review technical documents, plans, and guidance materials supporting FAA programs
  • Perform technology evaluations and support testing and evaluation efforts
  • Execute independent verification and validation (IV&V) support
  • Build and support system modeling as needed for program planning and execution
  • Develop strategic plans, program management plans, and policy support documentation
  • Conduct technical analyses and feasibility assessments to support decision-making
  • Provide enterprise integration support across programs, projects, and systems
  • Provide technical leadership for contract staff executing support activities
  • Review IP configurations and generate accurate IP supplemental forms, including subnetting details
  • Support networking requirements like VPN configuration understanding, firewall rule awareness, and related pre-submission ordering details

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, or Science (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • 11+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence external stakeholders
  • Solid IP networking background, including accurate subnetting and configuration review
  • Working knowledge of VPN configurations and an understanding of firewall rules and networking requirements prior to submission
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and work around equipment and server room environments when required
