Schedule
- Remote-first (US Remote)
- Work with a team distributed across multiple time zones
- Two-week sprint cadence with end-to-end service ownership (design, build, deploy, support)
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain performant, well-structured Python services and RESTful APIs for Operator Console
- Champion best practices in code quality, automated testing, and observability
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and hands-on guidance
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and engineering partners on complex, multi-team initiatives
- Write Kubernetes manifests and deploy/manage services using GitHub Actions, Helm, and ArgoCD
What You Need
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python and a modern web framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar)
- 2+ years deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes
- Expert-level RESTful API design and implementation experience
- Advanced PostgreSQL (or similar relational DB) skills including data modeling and query optimization
- Strong communication skills and experience working across multiple time zones
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tooling, and modern software testing practices
- Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers via reviews, pairing, and collaborative problem-solving
- Experience using AI-powered development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to improve productivity and code quality

- Salary range: $130,000–$160,000 per year
