What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines that ingest from multiple sources and normalize data for company-wide use
- Lead design and development of scalable data infrastructure using tools like dbt, Dagster, Beam, and Dataflow
- Write clean, performant SQL and Python to turn raw data into actionable, production-ready datasets
- Architect data models and transformations for operational analytics and data-driven product features
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews, best practices, and thoughtful technical guidance
- Partner with product, clinical, and analytics teams to translate needs into infrastructure that unlocks insight and impact
- Optimize workflows for performance, reliability, and cost
What You Need
- 5+ years building high-quality, scalable data systems and pipelines
- Expert SQL + Python, with strong data modeling and transformation fundamentals
- Hands-on dbt experience and pipeline orchestration experience (Dagster, Beam, Dataflow, or similar)
- Experience with modern data stack and cloud data warehouse design principles
- Track record shipping maintainable solutions that drive real business outcomes
- Comfort with ambiguity and a “find the leverage” mindset
