Schedule
- Full-time, fully remote (United States)
- Requires 5% travel (100% mileage reimbursed at federal rate)
- Includes scheduled on-call rotation, including after-hours support for batch cycles and production issues
What You’ll Do
- Gather and clarify business requirements with functional teams and translate needs into technical solutions
- Support requirements analysis, fit-gap analysis, and solution design
- Define and document technical designs and facilitate review/approval processes
- Develop and configure modules and integrations aligned to technical design documents
- Perform thorough unit testing and demonstrate solutions as needed
- Support system, integration, and performance testing
- Support end-user training, deployment, and migrations across environments
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET and SQL Server
- Implement and enforce Section 508 compliance standards across codebases
- Validate accessibility using tools like ANDI, AXE, NVDA, and Color Contrast Analyzer
- Troubleshoot and resolve code and data issues in existing applications
- Participate in on-call rotation to monitor production/batch cycles and address issues quickly
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience developing with .NET and SQL Server
- Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with ASP.NET Core (web APIs and server-side logic)
- Demonstrated expertise in 508 compliance coding standards and accessibility best practices
- Hands-on experience using accessibility testing tools (ANDI, AXE, NVDA, Color Contrast Analyzer)
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries and strong understanding of relational database design
- Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and HTML5 ARIA roles, states, and properties
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting, developing, or maintaining Medicaid systems (provider enrollment preferred)
- Ability to serve in an on-call rotation, including after-hours support
