What You’ll Do
- Own cloud network security across Azure: virtual networks, hybrid connectivity, DNS, threat management
- Design and support firewall and perimeter security solutions (Palo Alto focus)
- Implement and manage WAF / load balancer security controls
- Support cloud security and compliance requirements aligned to industry standards
- Assess current security posture and future-state architecture, then define the solution path to close gaps
- Research, architect, and recommend security approaches that meet both security and compliance needs
- Work directly with customers on implementation support and cloud security guidance
- Contribute to platform/infrastructure work using cloud native tooling when needed (Terraform, Go, Python, Node, etc.)
What You Need
- 10+ years of security engineering experience
- Strong Azure cloud security experience (expected focus: ~40%)
- Deep firewall expertise (expected focus: ~60%)
- Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls
- Hands-on experience with WAF / load balancers
- Strong knowledge of hybrid networking, network security, and threat management
- Ability to translate security/compliance needs into practical architecture and implementation
- Bonus: infrastructure-as-code / automation skills (Terraform, scripting, cloud native languages)
