Schedule
- Full-time, remote role (Chicagoland area preferred)
- Individual contributor position
- Cross-functional collaboration with business, product, and technical teams
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage testing artifacts: test plans, strategies, cases, automation scripts, and results
- Automate regression test suites, build frameworks, and optimize existing scripts
- Partner with product managers, analysts, developers, and end-users to ensure thorough coverage of new functionality
- Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ORT (Operational Readiness Testing) efforts
- Analyze and log defects in JIRA, track through resolution, and ensure prevention in regression testing
- Provide initial defect analysis and collaborate with support teams for issue resolution
- Write SQL queries and assertion routines to validate functionality
- Collaborate with offshore testing teams and mentor peers with knowledge transfer documentation
What You Need
- 8+ years of quality engineering experience, including strong automation background
- Hands-on testing with Blue Yonder and AS/400 systems
- Retail/warehouse management system (WMS) testing experience
- Strong skills in defect tracking, regression automation, and SQL queries
- Proven ability to communicate clearly across product and technology teams
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with WMS-TMS integrations and willingness to learn TMS for upcoming implementation
Compensation
- Salary range: $92,000 – $115,000 annually
- Eligible for bonuses, incentives, and long-term compensation
