  • Pay range: $105,000–$132,000/year

  • Final in-person interview may be required

What You’ll Do

  • Lead automated test strategy using Cypress and Cucumber BDD
  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks that support CI/CD
  • Drive test automation best practices and consistent quality standards across projects
  • Mentor junior QA engineers through training, script reviews, and standardization
  • Partner with developers, product owners, DevOps, and other stakeholders to embed automation into the SDLC
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage
  • Run performance testing and security testing to uncover vulnerabilities and stability risks
  • Design test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end coverage
  • Analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and deliver root cause analysis for automation issues
  • Provide insights on risk, coverage gaps, and quality improvements to influence product roadmaps

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus 5+ years in QA automation, SDET, or software engineering (or equivalent combined experience)
  • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
  • Cypress and Cucumber experience (highly preferred)
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices
  • Working knowledge of SQL or NoSQL database concepts
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • Ability to present information clearly to management
  • Certifications in testing tools or Agile methods (preferred)
