- Work across product, design, and broader engineering groups
What You’ll Do
- Build and evolve Life360’s unified mobile maps framework
- Enable high-quality, scalable mapping features across iOS and Android
- Partner closely with product and design on advanced map UX and real-time interactivity
- Define architecture and direction for mapping technology across teams
- Drive framework adoption and empower hundreds of mobile engineers
- Improve engineering speed and product velocity through scalable map components
What You Need
- 6+ years software development experience
- 2+ years building mobile mapping features and frameworks
- Deep expertise in mapping ecosystems, data layers, and performance optimization
- Strong collaboration and cross-team influence skills
- Ability to iterate quickly and support high-velocity product cycles
- Experience building consumer-scale mobile experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Bonus Points
- Experience with graphics programming or game-engine pipelines
- Background working with complex visual systems or motion-heavy interfaces
