What You’ll Do
⦁ Lead Change & Release Management and governance processes for the Aetna LOB
⦁ Evaluate architecture and system integrations to identify dependencies and release impacts
⦁ Manage end-to-end enterprise releases: coordination, checkout testing, severity assessment, and business impact analysis
⦁ Represent Aetna in CAB meetings, validate enterprise changes, and drive risk analysis
⦁ Review and certify change plans for clarity, completeness, timing, and implementation readiness
⦁ Partner with development, QA, performance, and capacity teams to assess risk and define mitigations
⦁ Exercise authority to halt changes when needed to protect stability and customers
⦁ Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Problem Management to build SOPs, quality controls, and resolution strategies
⦁ Drive continuous improvement and defect remediation with IT and business stakeholders

What You Need
⦁ 7+ years in senior IT leadership roles driving process improvement, SOP development, and issue resolution
⦁ 3+ years designing scalable distributed systems using microservices and API-driven architecture
⦁ 3+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
⦁ 3+ years implementing observability/monitoring, chaos engineering, incident/problem management, and performance optimization best practices
⦁ 3+ years experience with network security, firewalls, virtualization, and remote access
⦁ 3+ years in change validation, post-deployment verification, and defining release success criteria
⦁ 3+ years in Release/Change/Incident/Service Management with working knowledge of ITIL
⦁ Strong executive communication and stakeholder management, including leading cross-functional and vendor teams
⦁ Bachelor’s degree (or HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
