Schedule
- Full-time, 100% remote
- Collaboration expected during U.S. business hours (flexible, no time trackers)
What You’ll Do
- Influence engineering strategy and help shape product architecture
- Write technical specs for upcoming features
- Oversee grooming sessions and help estimate work for feature development
- Build and ship new product features in a heavy code-contribution role
- Participate in code reviews and design reviews
- Join product retrospectives and team ceremonies
- Mentor developing engineers and help level up the team
- Conduct technical interviews and support hiring for the engineering org
What You Need
- 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on full stack web development
- Strong communication skills and comfort explaining technical decisions clearly
- A product-minded approach and desire to help grow the team and platform
- Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and MySQL (or equivalent stacks like Ruby/Node + React/Angular + Postgres/MSSQL)
- Bonus: enterprise engineering experience
- Bonus: MVC architecture experience
- Important: this is not an engineering manager role, it’s a hands-on builder role
