Schedule
- Full-time, permanent role
- 100% remote within the United States
- Core collaboration during standard U.S. business hours
- Heads-down, heavy code contribution role (not an engineering manager position)
What You’ll Do
- Help shape engineering strategy, technical direction, and product architecture
- Create technical specs for upcoming features and larger product enhancements
- Lead and participate in grooming sessions, breaking down work and estimating effort
- Develop new full stack features using modern web technologies
- Review code, share feedback, and uphold engineering quality standards
- Join design reviews, retrospectives, and other team ceremonies
- Mentor and support mid-level and junior engineers on the team
- Participate in technical interviews and help grow the engineering organization
What You Need
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on full stack web apps
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain decisions and tradeoffs
- Interest in contributing to product direction, not just “taking tickets”
- Experience with MVC patterns and modern web application architectures
- Working knowledge of:
- PHP and Laravel, and Vue.js and MySQL
- Or equivalent stacks such as Ruby, Node.js, React, Angular, Ember, Postgres, MSSQL, etc.
- Experience in an enterprise or B2B SaaS environment is preferred
- Comfort in a fast-moving, high-impact, “ship to production” culture
