- Collaborates extensively with engineering and product teams
What You’ll Do
- Shape engineering strategy and influence long-term product architecture
- Create detailed technical specifications for new features
- Lead engineering grooming sessions and guide estimation efforts
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Build new features and contribute heavily to core product code
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, retros, and team ceremonies
- Conduct technical interviews to help scale the engineering team
What You Need
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate decisions clearly
- Desire to contribute to product vision, team culture, and technical direction
- Proficiency in MVC architecture and enterprise engineering practices
- Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and MySQL
- Equivalent experience in similar stacks (Ruby, Node, React, Angular, Ember, Postgres, MSSQL) also acceptable
- Interest in a hands-on coding role rather than engineering management (growth paths available)
