This is a senior, build-it-and-own-it role for someone who can ship clean full-stack work and keep production steady. You’ll be hands-on in Ruby on Rails with modern web UI, helping Cardio Partners move faster while raising quality, reliability, and customer experience.

Cardio Partners (a division of Sarnova) is a national leader in emergency prevention and an advocate in the fight against Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). They provide complete cardiac solutions including equipment, consultation, training, and program management, and distribute FDA-approved defibrillator devices.

- Must reside in the United States

What You’ll Do
- Build high-quality product features on time with a strong focus on low-defect delivery
- Develop hands-on using established languages, specs, processes, and methodologies
- Test, analyze, and debug across environments
- Provide production support and proactively identify issues before customers feel them
- Create Proof-of-Concepts to validate approaches and feasibility
- Contribute to development and user experience decisions as part of the team
- Recommend new technologies that improve development and end-user experience
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and business stakeholders to align delivery with expectations
- Present and defend technical decisions grounded in solid engineering principles
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for strong dev standards and UX quality
What You Need
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience
- Ruby on Rails experience (required)
- Strong JavaScript and jQuery experience building rich client functionality
- Solid HTML/CSS and cross-browser layout skills across the full web stack
- Experience with responsive web development; mobile site/app exposure is a plus
- eCommerce experience (preferred, 1+ year)
- Front-end framework experience like AngularJS or React (plus)
- UI/UX and usability knowledge for mobile/tablet (plus)
- Advanced SQL query familiarity (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize, and hit deadlines
- Self-motivated, urgency-driven, willing to challenge the status quo, and committed to continuous growth
