What You’ll Do

  • Own features end-to-end from scoping through delivery, including identifying stakeholders and gathering requirements
  • Build scalable, maintainable features across web, mobile, internal tooling, and infrastructure
  • Ask clarifying questions early to simplify complexity and avoid over-engineering
  • Contribute to system design and uphold standards for code quality, testing, and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate on technical problem-solving
  • Communicate directly with teammates, leadership, and clients to deliver business outcomes
  • Identify improvements in codebases, processes, and tooling and help implement fixes
  • Support modernization work as legacy systems are phased out and architecture evolves

What You Need

  • 4+ years as a full stack engineer building and scaling production systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
  • Strong experience with:
    • TypeScript
    • Node.js
    • React (Vite and/or Next.js)
    • tRPC
    • Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL, including ORMs like Prisma
  • Strong AWS infrastructure experience, especially:
    • CDK
    • Fargate
    • RDS
    • Lambda
    • API Gateway
    • S3
    • CloudFormation
  • Comfortable operating without heavy product management support, including scoping work, spotting edge cases, and challenging unclear requirements
  • Strong system design instincts and commitment to type-safety, maintainability, and quality
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well and contributes to an inclusive team culture
  • Proactive and comfortable navigating ambiguity while balancing speed and quality
  • Bonus: React Native experience
  • Bonus: experience in regulated domains like healthcare
  • Bonus: based in or open to relocating to Phoenix (future hybrid option)
