What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain backend systems, APIs, and services that integrate 3D design tools with Dandy’s supply chain and manufacturing infrastructure
- Orchestrate access to 3D tools for internal teams based on supply chain event triggers and capacity needs
- Coordinate submission, storage, and distribution of browser-based CAD outputs to cloud systems and remote manufacturing centers
- Support and develop internal APIs, endpoints, and microservices
- Instrument tools to generate insights for planning, forecasting, and improving throughput and capacity
- Build integrations with third-party APIs to transmit 3D data payloads and retrieve processed outputs
- Collaborate cross-functionally and act as a liaison to Product Management and Manufacturing Operations engineering teams
- Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity with an iterative, production-minded approach
- Write maintainable, standards-driven code and uphold best practices through code review
- Identify technical debt, propose solutions, and implement improvements
- Advocate for stronger product quality, security, and performance
What You Need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years of backend development using TypeScript or Node.js
- Strong backend proficiency with systems like NestJS, Node, GraphQL, and related frameworks
- Ability to understand business workflows and translate bottlenecks into engineering solutions
- Clear, concise communication around complex technical and architectural problems, with iterative solution thinking
- Comfort working in an agile, highly iterative development environment
- Experience owning projects end-to-end from concept through production and maintenance
- Self-motivated, self-managing, and highly organized
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first organization
