What You’ll Do
- Lead design and development of front-end web architectures powered by middleware and backed by multiple data sources
- Build and ship software across the current stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kafka, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), NestJS, Redis, SQL, Jest
- Strengthen the development practice through hands-on coding, code reviews, and acting as a technical bridge across the team
- Step into complex areas of the system when knowledge gaps exist and drive solutions forward
- Lead test-driven development efforts, including strong unit testing practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define, design, and ship new features
- Apply security best practices to protect customer and company data
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to internal and third-party product roadmaps
- Design scalable, performance-optimized web applications that can grow with the business
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field AND 5 years of experience in a development role
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience across front-end, middleware, or back-end development - Strong leadership habits: clear communication, good judgment, and comfort owning decisions
- Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, testing discipline, performance optimization, and secure development practices
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment and keep quality high under deadlines
- Bonus: technical certifications from Amazon, Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, or in the listed technologies

Pay Range: $100,000 – $130,000/yr.
