- Standard business hours with regular collaboration and sprint planning
What You’ll Do
- Lead design and development of front end web architectures driven by middleware that connects to multiple back end sources
- Own development across a modern stack including JavaScript, TypeScript, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), NestJS, GraphQL, Kafka, Redis, SQL, and Jest
- Drive test driven development practices and ensure high quality unit test coverage across the team
- Act as a technical bridge and senior voice on the team by coding, reviewing code, and tackling complex system areas
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for loan origination and integration projects
- Apply security best practices to safeguard customer and company data
- Research and evaluate new technologies, contributing to internal and third party product roadmaps
- Design performance optimized, scalable applications and support agile delivery using tools like Jira
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 or more years of experience in software development across front end, middleware, or back end (or equivalent mix of education and experience)
- Strong hands on experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as React and Node.js
- Comfort working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and message brokers such as Kafka
- Proven experience leading or mentoring other developers and guiding technical decisions
- Solid understanding of testing practices, performance optimization, and web security basics
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast paced, collaborative environment
- Cloud or other technical certifications from Amazon, Atlassian, Google, or Microsoft are a plus
