About Maximus
Maximus delivers technology and operational solutions for public-sector and enterprise clients, including large contact center environments. This role focuses on designing and optimizing Genesys Cloud solutions across major upgrades, migrations, and new feature rollouts. You’ll be a senior technical leader driving execution and coaching engineers along the way.

Schedule

  • Full-time, remote (United States)
  • Must be available for unscheduled hours during emergencies/outages
  • Follows implementation standards and change control processes
  • Subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

What You’ll Do

  • Execute large-scale Genesys Cloud projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new feature deployments
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting, integrations support, and performance tuning for complex environments
  • Mentor and lead engineers, supporting technical growth and team collaboration
  • Own contact center implementation and support across the full project lifecycle
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, IT partners, customers, clients, and vendors
  • Support emergency response work during outages, including off-hours as needed
  • Follow change control processes and departmental implementation standards
  • Analyze voice and data networks (as needed) and recommend solutions
  • Create and update project artifacts and deliverables, including change management documentation

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extensive Genesys Cloud experience, including:
    • Advanced configuration
    • Architecture design
    • Systems integrations
  • Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring senior technical teams
  • Strong technical problem-solving and collaborative troubleshooting skills
  • Call flow development experience using Genesys Architect
  • Familiarity with tools/technologies such as:
    • Wireshark
    • Windows Server, DHCP/DNS
    • Hyper-V, VMware ESXi
    • Visio and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
    • Outlook / email platforms
  • Software development experience across some combination of:
    • Java, C#.NET, Python, PHP
    • Web application scripting, tools, and methods
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with good audience awareness
