- Close collaboration with engineering teams across product, infrastructure, and operations
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and manage AWS based infrastructure for Prompt’s cloud platforms
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab or GitHub Actions
- Containerize and run applications using Docker and ECS or Fargate
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, and automate as much as possible
- Troubleshoot issues across production and development environments
- Partner with developers to improve performance, security, and maintainability
- Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Implement and refine monitoring and logging with tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
What You Need
- Around 5 or more years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Expert level experience with at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong hands on background with containerization (Docker, ECS, and preferably Kubernetes)
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience supporting the full developer lifecycle and modern software delivery practices
- Practical experience with monitoring and logging stacks
- Strong skills in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or similar)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and optimize performance
- Solid communication skills and comfort working across teams in a remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands on experience
Preferred
- Experience with database management for SQL or NoSQL systems
- Experience working with PHP applications
- Working knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
- Background working in fast paced, agile product teams
