What You’ll Do
- Partner with business users to identify all data required for migration from legacy systems
- Analyze source data structures, fields, and values to understand what needs to move and how
- Identify data quality issues like duplicates, missing values, and format problems before migration
- Use predefined Migration Object templates within the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
- Map source fields to S/4HANA templates and document transformation rules clearly
- Configure value mapping tasks to define translation rules for specific data values
- Collaborate with technical developers when standard migration objects are not enough
- Provide mapping logic for LTMOM work to add custom fields or create custom migration objects
- Participate in migration test cycles (unit and integration testing)
- Support business validation to confirm loaded data matches mapping logic and quality expectations
What You Need
- 5–7 years of experience in SAP data focused roles (SAP Data Analyst, ETL Developer, or SAP Functional Consultant with heavy data focus)
- Expert knowledge of S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, including staging table and direct SAP migration approaches (as applicable)
- Hands-on experience using LTMOM to enhance or customize standard migration objects
- Strong data quality, profiling, and cleansing skills
- Strong SQL skills for querying source databases to analyze, extract, and transform data
- Experience with SAP loading tools like LSMW, BAPI, and IDoc (highly beneficial)
- Must be a US Person and able to provide proof of US citizenship
- Must live in Puerto Rico and work without sponsorship now or in the future
