- Contract (Global)
- Remote-first (must overlap with Australian time zones; West Coast U.S. preferred)
- Afternoon to evening hours (PST-friendly)
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Lead Game Designer and creative team to build and ship new Roblox game content
- Translate player feedback and data into engaging, high-retention features
- Prototype, test, and iterate on game mechanics, systems, and economies
- Balance monetization, sustainability, and gameplay satisfaction
- Support technical troubleshooting, bug fixes, and general improvements
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, creative direction, and roadmap planning
- Stay up to date with Roblox and broader gaming trends
What You Need
- Hands-on experience using Roblox Studio and scripting with Lua
- Shipped at least one game, app, or interactive digital product
- Familiarity with modern dev workflows (CI/CD, version control, testing)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with a bias toward action
- Must have work authorization in Australia or flexibility with timezone overlap
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or passion in music and rhythm-based games
- Experience balancing in-game economies and retention loops
- Interest in AI-powered game features
