About the Role
We’re seeking highly skilled Python developers to help train and refine the next generation of AI language models. Your expertise in algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and systems programming will directly shape how AI learns to code, solve problems, and think like an engineer.
You’ll collaborate with advanced AI models—challenging them with real-world programming tasks, evaluating their reasoning, and improving their ability to write, debug, and explain Python code.
Compensation
- Rate: $8 – $65/hour (based on experience, expertise, and location)
- Type: Contract (no company-sponsored benefits)
What You’ll Do
- Engage with AI models on Python-based software engineering tasks.
- Assess code quality, logical accuracy, and efficiency.
- Review work for adherence to best practices, including secure coding, object-oriented design, and RESTful API integration.
- Identify and document errors, failure modes, and logic gaps.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
- Provide clear, step-by-step explanations of reasoning and solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong fluency in Python across multiple domains:
- Algorithms and data structures
- Backend and frontend development
- Cloud infrastructure
- Systems programming
- Expertise in topics such as asynchronous programming, memory management, and debugging distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent real-world experience).
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex ideas with clarity.
- Experience in technical writing, open-source contributions, or training materials is a plus.
