Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and tag games across all genres, ensuring accuracy and discovery optimization across Netflix and app store platforms.
- Deliver metadata insights that shape marketing, creative services, and promotional strategies.
- Develop and refine classification systems, connecting games to film/TV taxonomies where applicable.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and Consumer Insights on UI, personalization models, and innovation projects.
- Handle escalations and manage projects with clear communication and operational excellence.
- Continuously improve workflows, tools, and quality control practices.
Requirements
- Prior experience in fields such as game development, publishing ops, content classification, app store optimization, or editorial/media roles.
- Passion for gaming across platforms (mobile, console, PC) and awareness of industry trends.
- Ability to distill and describe nuances in game genres and player experiences.
- Strong judgment and decisiveness under deadlines.
- Project/program management experience with vendor or workflow oversight.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Skilled with Excel, Airtable, Google Sheets, and data tracking tools.
- Experience with kids’ games or global markets outside U.S./Canada is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $70,000–$370,000 (mix of salary + stock options; compensation tailored to skills and market value).
