What You’ll Do

  • Translate business needs into software license acquisition requirements and coordinate procurement/contract execution
  • Collaborate with sourcing, finance, asset management, and contracts teams to complete software acquisitions
  • Develop negotiation strategies and license matrices aligned to CVS’s IT roadmap and long-term vision
  • Guide engineering teams on contract-related matters to support utilization and adherence to terms
  • Support leadership and stakeholders on software evaluation, acquisitions, and contractual maintenance
  • Identify and drive cost savings and efficiency improvements across software assets
  • Negotiate favorable business terms and optimize third-party software costs
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract performance, deliverables, and compliance
  • Maintain awareness of the IT industry landscape and emerging technology trends to inform decisions

What You Need

  • 5+ years in Information Technology or Software Engineering (infrastructure engineering, app development, data engineering, or large-scale systems preferred)
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with datacenter, infrastructure, network, and cloud servers
  • 2+ years supporting third-party technologies and vendor support management
  • 2+ years solving complex business/technical problems and proposing solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
