What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure data and ML/AI infrastructure to support analytics and data science teams
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Analytics Engineers and Machine Learning/AI Engineers toward clear technical and business goals
- Build and maintain data pipelines, data lakes, and model deployment frameworks
- Develop and manage cloud based infrastructure for ML/AI workloads
- Automate data ingestion, transformation, and ML/AI workflows to improve speed and reliability
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to understand infrastructure needs and deliver aligned solutions
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, availability, and cost
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging tools, and recommend improvements to the overall stack
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ML infrastructure, or similar technical roles
- 2+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams preferred
- Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure for data and ML (AWS, GCP, or similar)
- Strong background in building data pipelines, microservices, and deployment frameworks for ML models
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and regulatory considerations
- Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable systems
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Relevant cloud certifications (such as AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Data Engineer) are a plus, not a requirement
Compensation
- Base salary: 130,000 to 140,000 USD per year, depending on experience and location
