What You’ll Do

  • Lead Epic interface development and integration strategy across the organization
  • Oversee build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Epic Bridges interfaces and HL7/FHIR-based integrations
  • Manage and mentor a team of Epic Bridges analysts, setting standards and best practices
  • Ensure reliable performance of interfaces and maintain data exchange between Epic and external apps via HL7, FHIR, and APIs
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver integration and reporting outcomes
  • Own documentation, SOPs, change control, and continuous improvement for supported systems
  • Manage vendors and third-party integrations to keep dependencies clean and accountable
  • Drive Epic business intelligence deliverables: dashboards, reports, and data extracts within Epic
  • Ensure data governance, security controls, and regulatory compliance are baked into the work

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
  • Strong working expertise with Epic Bridges, HL7, FHIR, and interface engine technologies
  • Advanced SQL skills plus experience with data warehousing and data modeling
  • Experience with Epic Cogito tools (Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench)
  • Familiarity with reporting/visualization tools like Crystal Reports and Power BI
  • Background working in healthcare IT environments
  • Strong communication skills, especially translating between technical teams and business leaders
