What You’ll Do

⦁ Maintain a custom Yocto-based Linux distribution across multiple custom compute platforms (with and without displays)
⦁ Bring up boards for NVIDIA Tegra and NXP i.MX platforms
⦁ Develop Linux kernel drivers for Tegra and i.MX hardware
⦁ Support kernel-level functionality across networking, audio, and visual hardware
⦁ Contribute to upstream open-source projects and select/maintain patches as needed
⦁ Test custom board features in CI and HIL environments
⦁ Provide long-term support for deployed Yocto distributions and Linux kernels in production systems

What You Need

⦁ Strong Linux kernel development expertise
⦁ Deep knowledge of Yocto and/or Buildroot build systems
⦁ Experience submitting patches to open-source projects and getting them accepted
⦁ Advanced C/C++ and shell scripting skills (other languages are a plus)
⦁ Embedded development experience, especially on resource-constrained hardware
⦁ Experience with CI and HIL testing environments for validating custom Linux-based systems
⦁ Comfort owning long-term maintenance for deployed products, not just initial bring-up
