This is a “design the whole machine” role, not a slide-deck architect. You’d be building enterprise solution architectures around event-driven systems, cloud-first design (AWS preferred), and the newer wave of AI/agentic tech, while coaching dev teams and unblocking real technical work.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect end-to-end business solutions for strategic initiatives across apps, data, infra, platform, and security
  • Lead modern event-driven architecture design (think Kafka, streaming, decoupled services)
  • Build cloud-native reference architectures and frameworks, including AI and agentic integration patterns
  • Partner across Digital, Data/Analytics, IT, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security
  • Coach and guide dev teams, remove roadblocks, and stay hands-on with technical problem-solving
  • Drive adoption of cloud-first / cloud-native patterns across legacy + modern environments

What You Need

  • 8+ years designing/developing enterprise solutions
  • 2+ years hands-on cloud implementations (especially event-driven architectures)
  • Strong cloud architecture skills (AWS preferred) for large-scale distributed systems
  • Solid architecture coverage across:
    • Application, data, integration, and security design
    • APIs: REST, GraphQL, gRPC
    • Microservices and Domain-Driven Design (bounded contexts to services)
    • Streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
    • DevSecOps/DataOps and Agile/XP practices
    • SQL + NoSQL + cloud database tech
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience is essential (they’re basically daring you to prove it)

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Pay

  • Typical range: $106,605 – $260,590/year (plus potential bonus/short-term incentives and equity award target)
