What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor a small gameplay engineering team
  • Architect and build core gameplay systems for a multiplayer action RPG
  • Work closely with design and art to bring features to life
  • Implement and optimize AI, combat, animation, and mission systems
  • Profile and improve performance across the game experience
  • Collaborate across disciplines in a remote, high-velocity environment

What You Need

  • 5+ years in game development
  • Shipped at least one AAA PC or console title
  • Mastery of C++ and strong gameplay engineering skills
  • Experience with AI, combat systems, animation, missions
  • Proven performance optimization chops
  • Prior team leadership experience
  • Unreal Engine experience
  • Passion for games and collaborative problem-solving

Bonus Points

  • MMO or Action-RPG experience
  • Procedural generation experience
  • Experience with distributed teams
